Starter Unit 2 What’s this in English?
課程目標
一、知識和能力目標
本單元的核心教學內容是“認物”。用英語確認周圍的常見事物比較符合英語初學者的實際情況。通過本單元教學，使學生運用所學句型，去熟悉周圍事物的名稱;教學生學會在實際生活中如何確認事物。通過辨認物體，學生學到一些生詞，並鞏固所學句型。
二、過程和方法目標
教師要儘量使學生對課文中出現的句型能夠熟練上口，這樣，學生才能順利開展比較靈活的對話。教師可以用手勢，表情，動作等示意，幫助學生聽懂課堂教學內容，但在實際操作中應儘量避免“明知故問”的傾向，應該採用應用性原則;如：遮蓋物品、顯露局部、辨認物體、完形識別、圖形辨認等方法。
三、情感態度和價值觀目標
目標在學生學習過程中的作用至關重要，教師要幫助他們建立起一個切合自己實際的目標，通過漸進的學習以及一點一滴的進步，使他們逐步建立起成功感。成功越多，自信心就越強。
學情分析
代詞this，that和it的用法。
this和that均指單數的事物。this指處於說話者近處的事物;that指處於說話者遠處的事物。而it則指代上文出現的單數的事物，也可指代上文出現的this或that。例如：
A：What’s this? 這是什麼?
B：It’s a pen.這是支鋼筆。
c：And what’s that over there? 那邊的是什麼?
B：It’s a ruler.那是把尺子。

Step l：Introduction
Review greetings.
Review the letters learn in the last unit. Get the students to introduce themselves in English.
Step 2：Lead—in
Have ready a quilt，a map，a jacket，a key，a ruler，a pen，an the key up and say What’s this in English? It’s a key.
Repeat and then get students to the same with a key，a pen，a possible，use flashcards to teach the spelling of the a flashcard beneath a drawing of each object.
Step 3：Practice
the tape the students circle the things they hear.
Get the students to act out the conversations in the picture of 1a. Make sure the students understand what they should ents can work in pairs then ask them to act out the conversations they made.

微格教學法促進七年級英語教學探析一、微格教學法概述
1.微格教學法的概念
微格教學(Microteaching)也叫微型教學，在教學中利用先進的媒體信息技術，依據教學反饋原理和教學評價的理論，分階段系統培訓教師的教學技能的活動。在教師的培養實踐中，普遍存在重學科知識的傳授、輕技能培訓的現象，而很多學科教學法的學習無法結合實際，常常流於形式，沒有起到應有的作用。
2.微格教學法的提出及發展
微格教學起源於美國60年代的教育改革運動。70年代後期，微格教學被一些國家作爲培訓教師教學技能方法而採用。英國學者n發展改進了微格教學，並在英國90%以上的教師培訓院校開設微格教學課程，澳大利亞悉尼大學教育系編寫了《悉尼基本教學技能》這套教材，收到一致的好評。
3.微格教學法的特點
微格教學法學習目標明確而具體。參加培訓的教師採取分組的方式學習，學習的規模小、參與性較強。小組式教學機動靈活，也能穿插其他教學方法，使教學方法體系化。此外，該教學法的教學實踐過程聲像化，這樣反饋的及時而客觀。利用積累的教學聲像素材，可編輯的微格教學片，用於微格教學的第二課堂學習。微格教學的評價技術也科學合理，評價對照聲像記錄結果，具有有針對性、客觀性。
二、微格教學在中學英語教學中實施過程
1.組織準備
除了學習微格教學法的理論基礎，另一個微格教學的重要的準備工作就是分好教學小組，一般來說，每個學習小組大概6—7人左右，同時也要委派一名小組長。此後具體的教學實踐以小組爲單位開展。
2.教學技能分析示範
微格教學基本的做法是將複雜的教學過程細分爲單一的技能並逐項進行培訓。基本技能包括語言技能、導入技能、講解技能、提問技能、結束技能、演示技能、板書技能、變化技能等。可以多采用班級授課的方式，讓講授與示範有機結合，使受訓者在理論與實踐這兩個方面都得到啓示。
3.微格教學的設計
微格教學要明確教學目的，安排教學過程，同時也要選擇教學方法。可以說，微格教學是普通課堂教學案例的縮微版，因爲它具備了普通教學案例中的所有要素。角色扮演是教師憑藉教案向學生進行施教。微格教學的目的純粹出於訓練，“老師”和“學生”都是由接受微格教學訓練的示範生來扮演。爲了更好地提供反饋，整個教學過程除了攝像機全程錄像外，每位聽課者也要記錄教學的內容，這樣在評課時能有的放矢。
4.回放和觀看教學錄像
當小組的成員教學完畢後，就要回放整節微格課的錄像，使執教者通過觀摩感受過程，對自己的教學表現有一個立體的認識，觀察自己的實際表現與設想之間的差別。同時也可以讓聽課者的心中有更加深刻的印象。利用聲像設備把教師的講課過程記錄下來，爲教師間的討論和自評提供了直觀的資料。有些教師不太注意的細節如多餘的習慣性動作、口頭禪等，經放大以後一目瞭然、印象深刻，也利於教師的及時修正，產生“鏡像效應”。
5.評價和反饋教學
評價的過程可以由教者先講述自己的教學設計，同時可以表達觀看錄像後發現的問題，再由其他聽課的組員給執教者提出意見，最後指導老師發表看法。完成這一過程後，組員再按照評價表給教者進行評分。
三、微格教學法引入中學英語教學的意義
1.用微格教學方法強調教學技能技巧的單項訓練
微格教學的過程就是實驗教學的過程，它將複雜的教學過程和技能進行科學的分類，然後再把不同的教學技能和技巧進行單獨的訓練，並按規定的教學目標進行教學實踐。在中學英語的教學中，可以根據微格教學的原理及培訓教師的單項教學技能技巧。在教學中採用講授與示教相結合的方法，培訓每一項技能技巧時，教師先介紹該單項技能的教學方法和技巧等，然後示教，根據示範指出應該注意的問題。
2.將觀摩示範與模仿創新相結合

課堂互動是中學英語課堂教學的一個重要組成部分，它直接影響着學生的學習效果。微格教學法的反饋環節可以促進課堂的活動。在中學的英語課堂上，如果中學生能積極的參與課堂互動，就能直接的獲得學習英語和掌握語言的機會，也能參與管理自己的學習，就導致學生對於學習的態度變得更加積極。課堂互動是多維的，生生互動和師生互動都可以促進課堂教學。教師與學生即是信息的發出者，又是信息的加工者。教師可以對學生在任務環中的形式進行總結，以加深學生們的印象。此外，教師還應該採用委婉的方式指出他們的不恰當的或錯誤，避免讓學生過多地接受錯誤的語言輸入。
