  書籍介紹

《計算機與通信專業英語(修訂第4版)》主要取材於兩個世紀之交國外發表的近40種最新材料。內容廣泛,語言現象豐富。所選內容既有基礎理論,又儘量跟蹤最近兩三年內公衆關心的熱點與新技術。教材內容基本能覆蓋計算機、通信這兩個專業常用的技術詞彙、詞組及常見的科技語法。《計算機與通信專業英語(修訂第4版)》在本次改編中,對全書作了一些重要的改進,即:大量增加了習題的類型和份量,目的是力圖幫助各個層面的讀者在學完課文之後都能有較大的提高(所有習題均附有解答)。因此,《計算機與通信專業英語(修訂第4版)》除可作爲計算機與通信兩個專業學生的英語教材外,也可供其他工程專業作爲專業英語教材或參考書,更有利於從事計算機、通信、信息等工作的技術人員的自學。

  作者簡介

徐秀蘭,教授,1957年畢業於北京郵電學院(現北京郵電大學)報話通信專業。畢業後留校工作。20世紀70年代初從事“程控交換”新專業的籌建。數年後專門從事計算機專業教學。講授過“計算機原理”、“微機原理”、“程序設計”、“外圍接口電路”、“80386與80486原理與程序設計”等課程。參加過多項國家與部級科研項目的科研工作。經國家教委考試和選拔,於1990至1991年作爲高訪學者訪問美國麻省州立大學。1992及1993年爲,來自中東和非洲不會漢語的研究生開設專業課,用英語講授“微機原理及程序設計”與“C語言程序設計”課程。自1993年開始,爲計算機及有關專業本科生主編“計算機與通信專業英語”教程並擔任教學至今。作爲編委之一參與《計算機詞彙》與《計算機詞彙大全》的編寫。前者榮獲1987年國家優秀圖書二等獎。
