自從媽媽開始健身之後，精神變得特別好，不過胃口似乎也跟着長，這麼一來減肥是沒希望了，看看阿美給媽媽出了什麼好主意？

May: Mom, this is your third bowl of rice!

Shirley: I know but I have no choice. My stomach just keeps crying for more and more.

May: Why? I never saw you eat so much before.

Shirley: I've been going to the gym these days. The exercise makes me hungry all the time.

May: So your stomach is the one that actually gets a lot of work-out.

Shirley: Don't pull my leg.

May: This way you'll probably put on more weight. Will you give up?

Shirley: Surely not. I can feel the results. I'm starting to feel different now.

May: Then how are you gonna deal with the problem of getting extra weight?

Shirley: I'm planning to meet my personal trainer to have the work-out plan fixed.

May: Oh, I've got an idea. Why don't you ask Dad to go with you? He badly needs some exercise.

Shirley: Your father is a bit too timid. He even doesn't know how to introduce himself.

May: He can just say: “I'm Benjamin. I'm new and shy.”

Shirley: Girl, don't make fun of your Daddy. But I can introduce him to my personal trainer. Maybe one day he will be a fitness freak instead of a cough potato.

May: Who knows!

雪莉：我知道，但是我沒辦法，我的胃總是想要吃更多。

阿美：爲什麼？以前我從沒見過你吃這麼多啊。

雪莉：我最近去健身房。鍛鍊時我總是覺得很餓。

阿美：你的胃一定做了很多的運動嘍！

雪莉：別拿我開心了。

阿美：這樣你可能會增肥的。你會放棄嗎？

雪莉：當然不了，我覺得非常有效果。現在，我開始感覺到（身體的）變化了。

阿美：那你要怎麼處理變胖的問題呢？

雪莉：我在考慮見一下我的私人健身教練，改一下健身計劃。

阿美：哦，我有一個主意。幹嗎不叫爸爸和你一起去呢？他很需要運動。

雪莉：你爸爸太膽小了。（我想）他連怎麼介紹自己都不知道。

阿美：他只要說：“我是本傑明，我是新來的，我很害羞。”

雪莉：嗨，別拿你爸爸開玩笑。不過，我可以把你爸爸介紹給我的健身教練，也許有一天，你爸爸會變成一個健身狂而不是現在的電視精。

阿美：誰知道呢！

May: My mom goes to a gym these days. She says she can feel the difference now. But I think her stomach is the one that actually gets a lot of work-out because she is eating more than before. This way she puts on even more weight. To solve this problem she decides to ask her personal trainer to fix her work-out plan.
