S: Excuse me. I need some storybooks in easy English. Do you have anything like that?
學生：對不起，我要買一些用簡易英文寫的故事書。你們有那樣的書嗎？C: Well, there are a lot of storybooks upstairs in our children's section. Some are written for young children, others for teens. Maybe some of them will suit your needs．
店員：嗯，樓上兒童區有很多故事書。有些是寫給兒童看的，其他的則給十來歲的孩子看，也許中間有一些會合乎你的需求。
S: I'll go take a look. Thanks for your help.

2．write in + 某種語言 用／以某種語言書寫
例：That author has written books in both English and German.
（那名作家用英文和德文寫了許多書。）

5．some... other... 此……而另一些……（用於非限定的兩個羣體）

一此……一此……而另一些……（用於非限定的三個羣體）
例：Some of his friends live in Beijing; others live in Shanghai.

Some of the recent graduates are going to graduate school; others are going to get jobs; still others plan to travel around the world.

6．go (and) V 去（做）……
注意：在美式英文中，常把go之後的連接詞and省略，而直接跟動詞原形。
例：Could you go ( and) answer the door, please?
（請你去應門好嗎？）
7．take a look (at sth) 看一看（某物）
Take a look at this painting.
（你看一下這幅畫。）
