Wendi: Alright, we've been watching some comedy lately. I wanna know who your favorite comic is?
溫迪：我們最近看了幾部喜劇。你最喜歡的喜劇演員是誰？Ken: My favorite comic? It's a draw between Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock.
肯：我最喜歡的喜劇演員？戴夫·查佩爾和克里斯·洛克。Wendi: Is Chris Rock really like, is he still doing something?
溫迪：克里斯·洛克還有在活動嗎？
Ken: No, he really hasn't done anything recently, but still like, yeah, he's pretty, a pretty funny guy.
肯：沒有，最近他沒推出什麼作品，不過他仍然是非常有趣的人。Wendi: He it totally funny.
溫迪：他真的特別搞笑。Ken: He's hard to top.
肯：很難有人超越他了。Wendi: When is the last time he was totally working a lot, though?
溫迪：他上次說脫口秀是什麼時候？Ken: It's gotta be maybe five years ago.
肯：應該是五年前了。Wendi: Yeah, it's been awhile.
溫迪：嗯，有一段時間了。Ken: Yeah. Now he's like... I don't even know what he does anymore. Maybe he's an actor now.
肯：對。現在他……我都不知道現在他在做什麼。他可能去演戲了。Wendi: He's flipping burgers.
溫迪：也許他去快餐店工作了。Ken: Yeah, he has to feed his family.
肯：嗯，畢竟他要養家。Wendi: Yeah, what about Dave Chappele? What's his deal? He's kind of?

肯：戴夫·查佩爾嗎？Wendi: He's still working?
溫迪：他還在說脫口秀嗎？Ken: Yeah. Maybe. He was really popular a couple of years ago when he was doing the Chapelle Show, a couple of his stand-ups came out, but...

溫迪：那個節目完結了嗎？Ken: h?
肯：他……哪個？Wendi: The Chappelle Show.
溫迪：《查佩爾脫口秀》。Ken: It's taking a break or something. What I heard was that he went crazy and he like checked himself into an insane asylum.
肯：節目可能是暫停之類的。我聽說他瘋了，住進了精神病院。Wendi: For serious. For real.
溫迪：真的嗎？Ken: Like all the pressure from work was getting to him and stuff. Like he just wanted break.
肯：好像是他承受了太多的工作壓力。他只想休息一下。Wendi: That's so amazing.
溫迪：這太不可思議了。Ken: Or he ran off to Africa or something.
肯：還有人說他逃到非洲去了。Wendi: You know what, that is just incredible because, it's like you know, the whole grass is greener concept. It's like, you think if you're a comedian and you're making people laugh all day and you're on stage and you're laughing too that you're probably having fun but at the end of the day, I guess work's work.
溫迪：這真是難以置信，這就是不滿足於現在的情況。喜劇演員是讓人們發笑的人，他們在舞臺上表演的時候也會大笑，好像很開心，但實際上每天結束後，對他們來說這其實就是工作。Ken: Yeah, work's work and he was doing, like he mentioned in stand-up he was working maybe 16, 18, 20 hours a day.

溫迪：真的嗎？Ken: Yeah, so even like hard to study...
肯：對，要努力研究……Wendi: What was he doing for 20 hours a day?
溫迪：他一天20個小時都幹什麼？Ken: Uh, like just doing his show. Like I guess it takes a lot of preparation and...
肯：做脫口秀。我想可能需要進行大量的準備工作……Wendi: That's crazy.
溫迪：這太瘋狂了。Ken: Even with all the help in the world, I guess he's still, you know, you have to make it quality, so it takes time and effort.
肯：雖然有其他人的幫助，我想他可能仍要花大量的時間，付出很多努力才能保證節目的質量。Wendi: Yeah.
溫迪：對。Ken: So, even if it is comedy, it might not be fun twenty hours a day.
肯：即使是做喜劇，也不可能一天24小時都開心。Wendi: I guess that's like the funny thing, you just think if someone's a comedian, it just all comes naturally. It's like it all just comes spur of the moment, but I guess the real thing is that a lot of work goes into it.
溫迪：一般人們認爲對喜劇演員來說，講出搞笑的事情很正常。他們能在一瞬間想到這些點子，但其實爲了做出節目他們有許多工作要做。Ken: Yeah, I think so. Like to be creative on a consistent basis is probably isn't the easiest thing in the world.
肯：對，我也這麼認爲。要一直保持創造力並不是容易的事情。Wendi: Yeah. I think so. It sure is for me anyways. Are you a Seinfeild fan?
溫迪：對，我同意。對我來說就是這樣。你喜歡看《宋飛正傳》嗎？Ken: Seinfeild...
肯：《宋飛正傳》……Wendi: Not really. I'm reading your body language.
溫迪：看來你不太喜歡，我可以從你的身體語言上看出來。Ken: No, I did watch a few episodes, here and there, when it was on TV and I was bored, but...
肯：那部劇在電視上播出時，我無聊的時候斷斷續續地看過幾集，不過……Wendi: You're not a big fan?
溫迪：你並不是很喜歡？Ken: Like I started watching it after the show ended like you know when everybody was watching the season finale, like I had never really regularly watched the show and I didn't even catch the season finale, but so, me friends were like, "Did you watch it? Did you watch it?" and I'm like, "No."
肯：我在那部劇完結以後纔開始看，當時所有人都看了結局，可是我基本上還沒怎麼看過，而且我也沒有看結局，我朋友問我你看結局了嗎？你看了嗎？我回答他說沒有。Wendi: I think it's brilliant. I think it's incredibly brilliant.
溫迪：我認爲那部劇很精彩，非常非常精彩。Ken: Yeah, it's a good show.
肯：對，那是部好劇。Wendi: Yeah.
溫迪：對。
