習語：a blind alley

講解: 這是一個名詞性短語，alley是衚衕，小巷的意思。從字面上理解，是“瞎衚衕”“死衚衕”，引申爲“前途暗淡”“行不通”之義。

Eg. When he invested in that business, he went up a blind alley.

當他投資做那個生意時，他就走上了一條絕路。

Eg. Bob did not take the job because it was a blind alley.

鮑勃沒有接受此職，因爲它沒有發展前途。
