Hi. My name is Shalini and I'm from Canada. Am I a good cook? Well, I like to think that I am but it wasn't always like that. When I was in university, I was a lazy cook and always just making things that were simple and quick, I think as everyone is, but my mom is an extraordinary cook and so I've learned a few things from her over the years and in fact, what I've come to realize is that I think anyone can really be a good cook as long as you love to eat, you just know or have the right spices and following recipes is OK I think for ideas but if you really want to be creative, you can take some ideas from a recipe here and there and mix it together and have a good meal.
