1. I wish I had
wish後接賓語從句,表示未完成或不能完成的願望,引導詞that常可省略,從句的謂語動詞通常用虛擬語氣,可分爲以下三種情形。
1) 從句的謂語動詞用動詞的過去式(be動詞多用were),表示與現在事實相反的願望。如:
I wish I knew what is happening outside space.
但願我知道太空外正在發生什麼事。
2) 從句的謂語動詞用"had+過去分詞",表示與過去的事實相反的願望。如:
They wished they hadn't attended the palace ball.他們想，要是他們沒有參加那次宮廷舞會就好了。
3) 從句的謂語動詞用"would / could / should+動詞原形",表示對將來的希望。如:
I wish you would succeed in borrowing some money from the mean man.
但願你能成功地從那個吝嗇的人那裏借些錢。
